I haven't yet had a chance to check Joey Bada$$' latest album, but DJ Premier shared this joint (which he produced) on social media. I decided to check it out and it's pretty dope. I really like Joey's idea for this song and it compliments the title of his album perfectly. Not to mention he's mastered his lyrics and delivery. Gotta give props to this man for keeping the real essence of hip-hop alive. Check it!

This shit's so fuckin dope. Big fan of both DJ Premier and Royce da 5'9" so I can't wait to hear what else these guys are cooking up. I seen a snippet for this video a few weeks ago but I just found the full version now. Check it!

Maaaaan this shit is amazing. Diabolic on the mic with DJ Premier on the beat. I wasn't a huge fan of that Alien Manuscript song but this one's sick. This beat kinda reminds me of Society is Brainwashed by Ill Bill [also a Preemo beat]. The title fits the beat perfectly and Diabolic kills it as usual. Check it.

Saigon just dropped this DJ Premier produced track from his upcoming GSNT3: The Troubled Times of Carenard (which releases September 30). Can't remember if Preemo and Saigon have linked up before, but this track proves them to be compatible. Check it.

Man before I even comment on the emcees on this shit... DJ Premier absolutely killlled this beat. I fuckin love this instrumental. But on top of that, these dudes murked it. I always thought the Demigodz were just Apathy, Celph Titled and Ryu. But looking over the tracklist of the recently released "KILLmatic" album, it seems that the group also consists of Esoteric, Blacastan and Motive. To ease the pain, Vinnie Paz released a brand new video for another track from the highly anticipated album. This one's called "The Oracle" and is produced by the legendary DJ Premier. Which I'm really thankful for because this beat is fuckin sick! Vinnie kills it too, despite having like 10 bars ending with the word "shit". I've grown used to this pattern though so I can handle it lol. This July 31st, La Coka Nostra is droppin' their upcoming album, "Masters of the Dark". This track right here is the 2nd released track from the album. It's produced by legendary beatmaker, DJ Premier, and has that classic hip hop feel. I didn't really like ILL BILL's verse in this, but I thought that Slaine killed it. Check this shit out!

NY State of Mind by Nas (SXSW2012 Performance)

 Now this is what hip hop's all about. You don't need all your homies up on the stage to make yourself feel important. All you need is a mic, a beat and one good hypeman to help you get some oxygen into your lungs. If that hypeman happens to be legendary DJ Premier, you got one hell of a performance. I was actually really impressed by his hypeman skills haha. Not just that, but the whole performance was pretty dope. This song is still as fresh as it was when Illmatic was released in 1994.
