I love this track. The beat and the energy they had on this track were crazy. Not sure if this is on a project or anything, but it could definitely make the cut. Check it.

I'm a little late to post this, but Slaughterhouse recently released a new mixtape, House Rules. I had the chance to listen to a few of the songs and they sound like what you'd normally expect from the group. I didn't watch the BET Hip Hop Awards because I checked all of the nominees for all of the categories and decided it probably wouldn't interest me. But some of these cyphers are dope. Maaan. I love when Slaughterhouse manages to come through with soft tracks that hit ya hard. This track reminds me of songs like "Rescue Me", "Goodbye", and even "Raindrops". It's missing Royce because it isn't actually a Slaugherhouse track. This song's from Joe Budden's latest album, "No Love Lost", which dropped this past Monday. This album kinda creeped up on me, so I'm not even sure what to expect from it. But if the rest of the tracklist boasts the lyrical level that this track does, it should be an awesome CD. That album cover kinda looks familiar though.

Now this is the kinda shit from Joe Budden that I've been waitin' on for a while. His shit with Slaughterhouse is cool sometimes, but nothin compares to his solo music. I found this video today, and it's weird because the video ends before the song does. These fuckers don't bowl long enough! But the portion of the song that we do get to hear is pretty sick. Check it!

So the Shady 2.0 team is killing it but I still think a lot of people are sleeping on their older stuff. This song really shook me up when I first bought the album. Each of their verses tells a very sad story about their life. I don't want to make light of any of the other members situations, but in particular I'd like you to listen close to Crooked I's verse. It is extremely emotional and the first time I heard it I was thinkin bout Crooked I out there somewhere and actually just felt sorry for him. He probably would wanna kick my ass for saying this, but I might've even wanted to give him a hug. Anyways, check it out.

Slaughterhouse has finally been making a name for themselves recently since Eminem hooked them up. But I kind of haven't been listening to their music as much since. Slaughterhouse is an awesome group, but they're all talented in different ways and sometimes their individualism doesn't come out when they work together. My personal favourite member of Slaughterhouse is Joe Budden. His lyrics don't get as crazy with the rhymes as his bud Crooked I can, but me and Brenton always talk about Budden's quotables. He can sum up something about life so well in one bar sometimes, that you just want everyone to know that one little quote. Budden might also appear the most depressed from Slaughterhouse, but it's cuz of this that his music is so real. This is my all time favourite track from Mood Muzik 4 cuz just like he says, "people say I'm emo, what that really mean though, is though the song can't breathe I actually make it seem so."

Woke up this morning in search of some dope new hip hop, and that's exactly what I found. Slaughterhouse just released another single from their upcoming album, "Welcome To: Our House", which hits stores on June 12th. My first impression based on the beat that I heard before Crooked I started destroying everything in his path, was that this would be a mediocre radio joint. Although the beat sounds like something you'd hear on the radio, Slaughterhouse still managed to kill it lyrically and make it a tolerable commercial sound. I actually hope that this song makes it to the radio just to show everyone what real emcees sound like. Open ya Earz!

I'm back, and I'm hittin' you with another track from another quarter of the Slaughterhouse regime. This one's from Joe Beezy, and it's called Don't Make Me. This beats gotta cool sunny California feel to it. Kinda seems like sumthin' that woulda been background music for the movie Scarface. I dunno, that's just how I hear it. Open ya earz!
