Another release from Strange Music's upcoming project, Strangeulation. I feel like Tech switched his style up in this one, and sounds like he's tryna adapt more to the mainstream. I still think it sounds sick tho. I love how the chorus calms down too, Kali's a beast. Check it.
After just signing Murs to their already solid team, Strange Music dropped into the Shade45 studios, and Sway got them to drop a cypher. Tech does a verse from "See Me" unfortunately, but the video is still pretty entertaining. Check it.

This shit's sick lol. Krizz Kaliko's smooth singing allows him to keep his music really diverse. So every time he drops a record, I'm never sure what to expect. This cypher is fuckin sick. The roster for Strange Music's "Summer of Strange" tour stopped by to kick it with TeamBackPack, and recorded this video. They each step up to bat and provide a stellar vocal performance. You can tell that they all work really hard on improving their delivery because each of em were on point from start to finish. Except Wrekonize, but he quickly picked it back up and freestyled something to make up for it.

Aww yeah. Been waiting for this video for a while now. Don't know why. It wasn't THAT great. But it was still entertaining. A lot of the scenes were pretty funny just seeing Tech & RA making weird faces n shit. I already posted this track when it was first released so I won't elaborate. If I tried my head would end up shakin' like RA's and I certainly don't need that. Check it!

Alright. So I've probably posted every song from this album that's been posted to Strange Music's official YouTube page. And as long as they post em, I'm gonna post em. This album is nuts. It's crazy. Ever since it was released on April 30th, I haven't switched the cd outta my car. It's such a great album when it comes to beat selection, guitar solos, turntablism, lyrics, flow, choruses, everything. Probably the most complete album I've heard in 2013 so far. This track right here features the two main Strange Music frontmen, Krizz Kaliko and Tech N9ne. They all have dope verses, the chorus is tight, and like I mentioned earlier, the scratching and guitar solo sound tight. Check this shit out. Ye-uh-yeeeuh!

Holy fuck. This song is so fucking sick. RA made a really good business move by adding this song to the tracklist. C-Lance produced this crazy beat that Tech & RA absolutely murdered. On top of that Krizz Kaliko delivers a sick chorus, as always. But man I'm lost for words, you gotta listen for yourself.

So here is the final project of the long awaited Strange Music and Snow tha Product collaboration. They both kill the lyrics and I particularly thought Snow bodied shit, even Kaliko haha. The whole battle set up was jokes but I would've had to been standing with Tech and Rittz on Snow's side. She was choppin really precisely with sick rhymes. Hence why I chose her for lyrics. It was cool seeing some of the Strange family hangin around in the video. I know I saw Kutt Calhoun and E40 in there, but there may be more. I'd feel pretty cool if I was Snow destroying bars and having the whole army of elite Strange muh fuckas rocking around me. Anyways check it out!

I've loved the couple songs Kaliko has released from his ep N'eh Mind but this is the first one I'm really, really feelin and gets me bumpin. I could get down with some chick to this. But not without that all too awesome Strange flava. Me and Brenton have really been noticing some progression in Kaliko's confidence with the sick rapping. I'll always love his voice but he's really starting to spit crazy bars these days. I think the one line about how he's Tech's "sidekick" and doesn't swat at flies might be aimed at Jokerr too. This video was pretty cool too just havin tons of random characters being catered around by big Krizz while he drives through backgrounds that make no sense. I really like the effects in the chorus too which are much more reminiscent of the talk box sound Roger Troutman used to use as oppose to autotune. Roger Troutman is the guy who sang the chorus to California Love by 2Pac and Dr.Dre if you didn't know and wanted to understand the effect I mean.

With the recent release of Tech N9ne's latest EP, "Boiling Point", fans have been hit with 7 more dope tracks from the Strange frontman. Out of all the tracks to make a music video to, he chose the deepest one. The black and white visual within an abandoned area compliments the song very well. This song reminds me of "Hello Walls" by Krizz Kaliko, just for its deep, mellow sound. Check it.

I'm not gonna say alot, I thought the beat was crazy, the video was entertaining and funny and those glasses Tech is rockin' are pretty jokes. Kaliko kills it and I love the feel of the chorus. And although I thought Tech's verse was a little weird and intense, whether you like it or not, Tech can rap on a beat like fuckin mathematics. I could have never done what he did on this beat and made it sound as sick as he did. His tongue is like a machine or some shit. Anyways, check it out! SPAZ, SPAZ, SPAZ!

So, we got a trifecta of lyrical choppin' madness. Kaliko's been releasing all kinds of content from his new album and I don't want to spoil the album for all of you, but so many of these are incredible. Kaliko brings a crazy dynamic verse with all kinds of elements but the two features he gathered for this one are some of the craziest rappers out the South. If you don't know who Chamillionaire is, well you obviously been sleeping, and if you don't know about Rittz, you're about to find out. Rittz is an all around talented rapper who cannot be fucked with. I haven't heard a song by him that he didn't murk. Go ahead, try and find one, he's just too dope. Chamillionaire, on the other hand, has been quietly killing it on the sidelines for years, but he surprised me with this one for sure. If the last thing you bumped by Chamillionaire was Ridin' Dirty, think again. The Chamilitary Mayne could demolish any beat that enters his earlobes! Check it out!

I have to say I’m really chomping at the bit waiting
for Kaliko’s new album. He’s previewed so many of the songs ahead of time and
every single one has been exceptional. It is gonna be a little disappointing to
know half the songs when I get the album but there’s still huge collabs
including Rittz, Chamillionaire and Hopsin which I’m exicted for. Anyways, this
isn’t even really entirely a rap song but I thought this song was sick and
kinda hit me hard in some ways. Let’s say I’ve spent a lot of time in my room
staring at the walls and ceilings too, feelin’ pretty low. Tech’s verse in the
song is hot too, nothing speedy or super crazy, just very real. I know a bunch
of you have felt like I have, have felt like Tech and Kaliko do, and will
appreciate this song. I really liked the setting for the video as well and
thought the simpleness of it really worked with the song. Check it out.

So we originally posted the little preview video of this song that Kaliko teased us with. So the full song was dropped today and I thought it was way too hard to not put on here. Since we'd already heard Kaliko I was hyped for Twista and especially Tech. I was extremely pleased with how hard Tech came on this one. I been thinkin his verses recently had been a little weird in a few songs. But he's choppin' in this one like you're at a lumberjack convention. I picked out the first few lines right when Tech comes in bustin' but if you think something is wrong, c'mon, I tried, and I think I got pretty damn close if not perfect. Check it out! This week, the almighty duo, Ces Cru, split up for a little bit and each released a solo mixtape. Godemis released "The Deevil" and Ubiquitous dropped "Matter Don't Money". Yeeeeeea. Another simple, yet effective video by Big Krizz Kaliko. This one's called "Mayday", and is a cry for help for the state of hip-hop. With tracks like these, I don't see what's even wrong with hip-hop, but that's because I don't focus on the up-and-comers that the industry wants me to like. Wait, What the hell am I talking about. Hip-hop's horrible right now, have you seen the fucking 2012 XXL Freshman? GOD DAMN. Anyways I'm gettin' off topic, I'll shut up and let you enjoy something better than those wack ass freshman fucks.
Well this came outta nowhere! Today I found this new video by Krizz Kaliko. The song's apparently from his upcoming album, "Kicking and Screaming", which I didn't even know about until now. The video's kinda simple, but the way it was filmed made it more intense than the typical stroll through the mall. Of course, Kaliko killed it and I liked the electronica type beat and the chorus at the end. Sounds pretty dope.
Dwamn! Another end to the week, and another start for some dope fuckin' music! This morning I'mma share 3 reasons why Strange Music is not to be fucked with in 2012! First off, we got "Million Miles Away" by Prozak. I haven't heard too much of this guys solo stuff, but when I do hear his music, it's usually decent. I really like the idea of this whole project. The video, the beat, the verses, everything. It's pretty inspiring and It's nice to hear some uplifting shit like this. Up next, is "T-N-T" by Mayday & Dead Prez. I think this track is from the upcoming Mayday album, Take Me To Your Leader, which drops on March 27. The vibe of this one is really cool and they all have some decent verses. And last but not least, we got "Can't Stand Me" by Tech N9ne and Krizz Kaliko. I was really surprised by this track to be honest. It starts off with a deep organ and some enchanting vocals supplied by Krizz Kaliko, and quickly changes to a crazy upbeat vibe. It kinda seems like a Mayday beat, but I'm not sure. Your greezy ass granny might not like it, but I think it's fuckin dope. Hope yall enjoy this shit! Open ya Earz!
