The poofy haired prodigy is back at it again. This song is probably one of the most meaningful on Rittz' White Jesus Revival album. He has great songs discussing his own personal issues but this song translates more to the world around him and the struggles of others as well. I was a little surprised about how the video unfolded but after watching a few times I saw there was more going on than I thought. If you pay attention the child in the video draws a picture he puts on his fridge. At the very end when the woman is being placed in the ambulance there is a scene of the child but then there is a scene of Rittz looking pretty depressed. Then you'll notice Rittz is looking at the same drawing the kid drew but it's all crumpled, wrinkled and folded as if it's very old now. Seconds later Rittz is nowhere to be found in the scene. I can't be positive but I believe the video might be a real representation of something Rittz went through as a kid. Great song and video, check it out.

As our blog description states, this is "our recommended choice of hip-hop". As of late, there hasn't been much to recommend to y'all, in our eyes. However, this morning on Facebook, Rittz shared this new track that he's been featured in by Jelly Roll. I donno much about Jelly Roll at all, but this beat is fuckin' cool, and both Jelly Roll and Rittz killed it. I didn't really like Shawty Fatt at all, but fortunately his verse is last and I can switch the song after Rittz! But yea, this song takes you through 3 different perspectives of the struggles comin' up in a "bad man's world". Check it!

So just recently BET showed a huge host of cyphers with all kinds of different rappers from young to old. There was lots I had no expectations for, but there was a lot of artists I was excited were present  that kind of dissapointed me. I don't know, it just wasn't exciting. Maybe it was the format of it, with a lot of artists spittin' such short little verses, so many different styles that it all got kind of diluted, but I digress. Since that shit kind of dissappointed me I figured I'd post Rittz recent lone freestle from MTV to show how it's done. I've been reppin Rittz since the beginning of this blog and I'm still watchin this guy go up. He's ridiculous in this, he plans out a lot of his bars almost mathematically and just when you think a rhyme was done with he still had a whole plan to continue. His country accent allows for a lot of sick rhymes too that I wouldn't necessarily gravitate to but it comes out sick for him. I can't wait for his first album off Strange. Check it out!

Paradise. The place we all wish to visit, or occupy one day. That was the case for Rittz at least, and this song right here is an anthem to the long-awaited success he's been feeling lately. As the newest member of Tech N9ne's Strange Music empire, it's only right that Rittz would decide to make a video for such a song. I was kinda disappointed with the video though. It's pretty boring and doesn't really reflect the song itself. Unless his idea ofdope. paradise is riding around in his car all day in a mainly rural community. Maybe that's the case, but I feel like this song deserves a better video. Check it anyways cuz the song's dope.

"Questions" Throwback by Tech N9ne & Rittz

So I was actually listening to this song this morning and then saw on Facebook that Rittz did a remix of this song after Tech asked what was the first Tech N9ne song you remember hearing. This song is pretty old but it's some really on point flowing and rhyming from Tech for the time he released this. I believe it's on the album Calm Before The Storm. Anyways, after I saw how sick Rittz was killin this old school beat I thought it'd just be sick to give the Tech throwback as well.

Rittz is rolling with Strange Music now and I think the label fits him like a glove. Ever since I first heard Rittz I been loving his music. I can't wait for his first album off Strange that I can actually buy just to support him cuz White Jesus Revival was really sick. It's great seeing him get to kill a really old Tech N9ne beat right in front of Tech N9ne loving it himself.

So hip-hop has been so dry lately, atleast around the artists I generally bump. I've been on vacation for two weeks and the only hot new song I've really liked was Ill Mind of Hopsin 5. Just since we haven't posted anything in a few weeks I figured I'd just throw up some random track that I think is sick and been bumpin alot lately. This song has got a cool dark feel and everyone who looks at this blog should know Tech and Rittz are both beasts so it's sick having em on a jam together. Although Tech may be "the pinnacle", on a lyrical level I personally think Rittz killed Tech on this one with his killer flow and non stop multi-syllables which are all complete, perfectly logical sentences. Tech can be a little incohesive at times haha. Wish both of their verses were a little longer though but whatever, it's not even their song. Finally, Nikkiya brings in a sick dark chorus and her own verse has some sick flavour. Her dark, twisted attitude is cool, doesn't just sing perfectly the whole time. Check it out!

So I featured Rittz on the blog before but since then I downloaded his cd White Jesus: Revival and the shit was actually fire. Every song is crazy and I love all the elements. There’s lots of rock inspiration and the beats are crazy, Rittz is a monster lyricist and his flow is unstoppable.  A lot of the songs are also some serious, emotional stuff from the guy and he doesn’t give a fuck about no bullshit. This cd was just a free mixtape download but these tracks, not to mention the high quality videos he’s been putting out are showing me the guy really put some time into this project just to build buzz. I’m hoping in the near future Rittz starts popping up all over cuz he’s extremely under rated and deserves it.  This song is one of my favourites and I was stoked to see he made another music video for this one. They call him Rittz bitch, check it out!

"Mayday" by Krizz Kaliko ft. Rittz & Chamillionaire

So, we got a trifecta of lyrical choppin' madness. Kaliko's been releasing all kinds of content from his new album and I don't want to spoil the album for all of you, but so many of these are incredible. Kaliko brings a crazy dynamic verse with all kinds of elements but the two features he gathered for this one are some of the craziest rappers out the South. If you don't know who Chamillionaire is, well you obviously been sleeping, and if you don't know about Rittz, you're about to find out. Rittz is an all around talented rapper who cannot be fucked with. I haven't heard a song by him that he didn't murk. Go ahead, try and find one, he's just too dope. Chamillionaire, on the other hand, has been quietly killing it on the sidelines for years, but he surprised me with this one for sure. If the last thing you bumped by Chamillionaire was Ridin' Dirty, think again. The Chamilitary Mayne could demolish any beat that enters his earlobes! Check it out!

Wuddup y'all, I'm Jesse, a good bud of the big man K Brenton. As he is a busy guy I'll be throwin in a contribution here and there if nothing new has popped up in a bit. Always tons of music to share. I'm throwin two vids up just cuz I had a song to share but then saw this small tidbit I thought was dope. I don't normally listen to a ton of women rappers but I've always known Snow Tha Product was a chopper (not to mention sexay) and this quick freestyle video I saw today I thought was sick. Now the main feature here is the song Wishin' by Rittz. This fuzzy haired guy knows how to rap and often his songs tell it how it is: shitty. This song can really zone me out and make me think about my life when my room is foggy.

BUT it turns out that Catfish Billy has some decent partners in crime. Just found out about this dude, Rittz, and a few of his songs turned out to be pretty sick.
